This picture was taken about 6 months before me and Ruby got married. The 52 Ford Iam leaning against was not very fast but it was a vickie  and there was not many 52 vickies. Shorty after this I went to work for General Motors and worked for them for 38 years. I did do a lot of work on the 52 and it ran a lot better.

This is Ruby my wife of 43 years sitting on the 56 Ford. All our marrage she has raced with me and helped build the cars. After I had gotten sick and had to quit work if it was not for her the 46 might have not gotten finished. It is really great to have a wife that likes cars too.

When I was in high school the whole parking lot was full of cars like this.  It is hard to believe that we used to make stock cars out of this kind of car. But that was 50 years ago and we did not know we were going to have use for them later.
